In this session, we will examine copyright and fair dealing in the context of virtual programming and storytimes in a public library context. Discussion will include scenarios, issues and questions librarians have had or were asked by patrons, presenters and publishers as well as scenarios librarians have been presented with in terms of programming and/or service delivery. Did copyright ever prevent a program from happening? Was fair dealing used as a justification for presenting copywritten materials in an online environment?
